David L. Hankey practices in the areas of corporate, business, and employment law. Prior to forming the firm, David practiced with a large international law firm and one of the world’s largest financial services companies. His practice includes advising on commercial transactions, employment disputes, trade secret protection, and non-competition agreements. His practice has a special focus on non-profit organizations.
David has lectured at law schools such as those at the University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt University, and Washington University in St. Louis. He was also a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Baltimore Law School. In addition, David has taught continuing education courses for the Maryland Bar and speaks frequently for business and non-profit groups.
David was a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Baltimore Law School, and has taught continuing education courses for the Maryland Bar Association’s Maryland Institute for Continuing Education for Lawyers (MICPEL). He likewise lectures frequently for business and non-profit groups on issues pertaining to employment law. David is a member of the Maryland Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission for District Seven.
